I draw and paint in my spare time as I currently work as a full time in-house translator. I have done commissions on and off since I was about 15, including a commission for my local health centre to commemorate their refurbishment. I have also had some work displayed in my local library. In 2001 I entered the Stockport Open Exhibition where my piece won one of the three prizes. I mostly draw people, either from photos or real life, because I like the challenge of getting a decent likeness. The pieces up so far are in either pencil, charcoal or acrylic. I hope to add lots of more recent work over the coming months!
